On select dates in September, we offer Bus Tours to nursing homes and assisted living facilities with residents who may otherwise be unable to walk around our grounds. Seniors can enjoy a guided tour of the museum from the comfort of their own bus from their living facilities!

Bus tours last approximately 45 minutes to one hour, are conducted by one of our very informative and engaging historic interpreters, and travels through the entirety of the village with information on all things 19th century!

Our tours are offered at three time slots to choose from for each day available, 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.

 

Tours are open to senior and handicapped groups by reservation only. There is a $40.00 tour fee (paid in advance) and an admission fee of $10.00 per person (paid upon arrival).
